Despite what they may say, most companies have one favorite topic: Themselves. Yet, mounting research (and some of our personal experiences) show us that talking about ourselves isn’t the way to attract customers. During this morning workshop, participants will:

  • Learn why leveraging external stakeholders as messengers is a powerful strategy every business should be using
  • Discover how to overcome “corporate narcissism” that gets in the way of developing messages that resonate with your customers
  • Explore ways to find customers to serve as brand messengers
  • View real-life examples of how organizations are leveraging the voice of the customer

Since joining Core Creative in 2011, Stephanie has provided thought leadership and strategic planning to clients such as Borgess Health, The Valley Hospital, Blessing Health System, Cape Regional Health System and more. She spent six years at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, leading many PR and marketing communications efforts, including spearheading a campaign to build awareness for a new $168-million tower. She offers clients a balanced perspective and fresh outlook on healthcare marketing in the digital age. Her work has won awards on both the local and national level, including a top honor – the Carol Mehlberg Award – from the Wisconsin Health Care Public Relations and Marketing Society. Stephanie is an adjunct professor at her alma mater, Marquette University. She is a member of a variety of professional organizations including the Public Relations Society of America and she spends time taking on-call shifts as a public affairs volunteer for the American Red Cross.
